Three Nova Scotia mediums are opening their third eye to teamwork and sharing their findings through a feminine lens.
Amy Murphy, Chelsey Lacelle and Kim Moser have worked together on Eastlink shows like Haunted Heart and Soul. The next step was to combine their talents into the investigative trio Third Eye Paranormal.
They introduced themselves to the paranormal community as a unit in early March, building on a working relationship that had already clicked, especially during events such as the Halifax Paranormal Symposium in November 2025.
“(Chelsey) unlocked something within me. Investigating with her just felt so natural,” Moser said during a call, adding it had been a while since she last worked with Murphy.
Now, that realization feels like a spark, as the trio looks to share investigations beyond their current viewers and bring them to social media and YouTube.
“It’s so magical and so profound. Your socks would be blown off if you could see a lot of what we’ve already filmed,” Murphy said. “We have so much to share when we’re together.”
Part of that mission is to present their work through a feminine perspective while staying grounded in their local community, especially in Nova Scotia.
“It gives us a great opportunity to showcase who we are as individuals in a more casual way,” Moser said. “We also love meeting people, hearing their stories and connecting with them.”
Their abilities complement each other, which also led to the group’s name. While waiting for Lacelle to return from Ireland, Moser and Murphy brainstormed ideas. In a quiet moment, the name Third Eye Paranormal came to Moser.
When she shared it with Murphy, the reaction was immediate.
“She screeched and kept saying, ‘I’m dead. I’m literally dead,’” Moser recalled. Murphy had already been working on a marketing plan using that exact name.
When Lacelle returned, she revealed she had been thinking along similar lines.
“Coven always comes to mind when it’s the three of us, but I was also thinking about something tied to trinity or three,” she said. “I didn’t say Third Eye Paranormal exactly, but it was something like it. Three is very important to us.”
When the name was revealed, Lacelle said it felt like confirmation.
“There is no doubt. That is the name for us. It’s so perfect,” she said.
Their intuitive and seemingly symbiotic abilities stem from their individual strengths. Murphy identifies as a trance medium who channels emotions through scrying. Lacelle describes herself as a sensitive who sees spirits, feels emotions and receives messages. Moser is a clairvoyant and precognitive medium who is sensitive to energy.
The sense of sharing their stories and investigations through the media they all know well, television and film production, will help build that sense of understanding in the audience.
“I find there’s a lot of backlash when it comes to mediums, and many people who are exploring their intuition are trying to grow and learn,” Lacelle said. “I was nervous to come out as a medium and develop my abilities, but being with Kim and Amy, having that support, has helped me grow and become confident.
“I want to help others who are intuitive or developing their abilities feel that same confidence. We want to build that community for mediums as well.”
It could be the beginnings of Nova Scotia’s own Lily Dale.
